Where are the MOST common places to see celebrities in New York?

Q: My mom and i are taking a trip to new york soon and we want to go to a place where we can see celebs just for fun (were not going to bother anyone) but im very intirested in the movie bussiness and it would be cool to see some actors ot actresses. we heard of the Soho house would we see them there? WHERE? also do celebs walk around New York? where? i heard Emma Stone lives there and she walks all the time i would die if i saw her!

A-1: That place with all the celebrities.
Its New York anyone is everywhere, you just need to get lucky.

A-2: Soho house is members only. Stay in a fancy hotel and maybe you'll be lucky. I stayed at the Soho Grand and it was full of them. I also saw Gwyneth Paltrow and SJP. Separate occassions in Greenwich Village. I can't say it changed my life in any way. New York city is amazing. Celebrities are not special.

A-3: I live in new York and love it!! I live in Brooklyn and very rarely see celebrities. Also, don't believe all the hub. Yeah you may see a celebrity in soho but it is actually really rare and most likely they will ignore you ( happened to me ). So I hope you enjoy your time but don't get your hopes to hi because you most likely will be very disappointed. But Soho and Brooklyn are your best bets!
Hope you have a good trip!

A-4: Hang aroung studios that do talk shows.
Below are some examples to check out.
* The Late Show with David Letterman
* Saturday Night Live

A-5: The Real Housewives of New York

A-6: Believe it or not, many celebrities bank in the areas right above 42nd St. (Times Square). Stay away from the tourist areas, but go to neighborhoods that are still popular and you may get lucky. Spike Lee is ALWAYS in SoHo.

What is the most famous thing in New York City?

Aside from the obvious there are several new great things to see in NYC. Such as the ground zero sight where 9/11 happened, the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building. The Today Show in Rockefeller Center where you can wave to the national news cameras in the mornings on weekdays from 7-9am. And a new really cool thing to do in NYC is the 'sex and the city' if you are into the former show.

How much would a month long trip to NYC cost?

Q: So me and one of my best friends have always wanted to go to New York City and just experience the city. My friend is strongly considering moving there, and I have been thinking about it. We want to go for about a month, but we know it's very expensive. We are thinking about shortening the trip because of the cost. We are definitely driving and we live in south Texas. How much would a hotel, traveling, spending money, and eating out cost? Thanks!

A-1: I took a school trip to ny and dc and I had to pay almost 2000$(which counts as plane ticket from california, food, tour guides, tickets to places ect) to go for 5 days. But we got really nice hotels and food at fancy restraunts. And it also payed for a Broadway show and other places we went to. I had the time of my life! But it really depends on what you plan on spending your money on and where your going to stay. So your going to need a lot less depending on what you plan on spending it on. But I hope you do go New York its an amazing place!

Hotels Near Broadway in NYC?

Q: Me and a friend are planning our New Year's/Christmas trip to NYC this year and wanted to start checking out hotels and prices now to get ahead of things. I'm taking her to a musical on Broadway and then are going to Times Square to watch the ball drop. I've been searching, but I can't find any hotels around that area that have gotten high or even decent reviews on the sites, though I'll admit I'm terrible at using the booking sites. I'm just looking for something nice, a little fancy maybe, between 270 and 400 a night and is near or close to the Broadway area. Anybody have any suggestions?

A-1: You will NOT find a hotel on,near, or close to broadway during the winter holiday season for under $400. That is like saying Lamar Odom is better than Michael Jordan. It won't happen, so I advise you to stay somewhere in Jersey, Brooklyn, or Queens, and just commute into the city by train. It will be your best option because you will save money, and the hassle of all the traffic that will be on and near Broadway during the holiday season. A commute from Brooklyn into the city on the train will be 30 minutes at the MOST. It would just be better to stay there or somewhere far from Broadway and commute. NYC has some of the best and most transportation methods you could ever think of. My word of advice would be to use them. Saves money and headaches.

A-2: As you are planning to visit NY around Christmas, my advice is to use one of the websites that offer hotel accommodation because of the price you will get. Personally I usually use one of them that is a book now and pay on arrival system. I prefer to use it because I just have to make the booking in advance so that I can secure the room and pay for it as soon as I arrive in the hotel! This is quite convenient as for me because meanwhile I can make any changes in the booking!
So I am going to give you the link with hotels in NY so that you can check and make your decision! I am pretty sure that here you will find what you are looking for and what's more the prices will meet your budget!
